PUDU MP2000 Autonomous Pallet Handling Robot
Overview
The PUDU MP2000 is an autonomous pallet handling robot that moves 2,000 kg loads without a driver and without rebuilding your site. It needs no site modification, no dedicated network and no platform integration. It maps the space itself, so a fleet can be operational within about an hour of arriving.
It picks up standard three-runner and perimeter-base pallets as they are, and learns non-standard carriers, so existing pallet stock stays in use. Fork insertion takes around 20 seconds, it works right-angle stacking aisles as narrow as 2 m, and it corrects for pallets left up to 15 cm off-position or 15° off-square. Depth cameras and 3D LiDAR handle safety in mixed human and machine traffic. Built for manufacturing line-side delivery, warehouse pallet handling and distribution centre transfer.
Features
- Plug-and-Play Deployment: No site modification, no dedicated network and no platform integration. Multi-sensor navigation and edge intelligence let a fleet self-organise and go operational within about an hour.
- 2,000 kg Payload: Handles full pallet loads up to 2,000 kg, with a 200 mm lift height and an 80 mm lowered fork height.
- 20 Second Fork Insertion: Each pallet pick completes in around 20 seconds, well ahead of comparable autonomous forklifts.
- AI Load Carrier Recognition: Works with standard three-runner and perimeter-base pallets out of the box, and learns non-standard carriers, so existing pallet assets stay in service.
- Adaptive Fork Alignment: Corrects automatically for pallets placed up to 15 cm off-position or 15° off-square, which is what manual placement actually looks like.
- AI Storage Detection: Detects rack occupancy and pallet position, selects the right target and plans the route, completing each cycle without manual confirmation.
- 2 m Narrow Aisle Operation: Handles 90° pallet pickup in right-angle stacking aisles as narrow as 2 m, with pallet spacing down to 15 cm, lifting storage density without a rebuild.
- Intelligent Clearance Assessment: Measures load dimensions and contours in real time to confirm safe passage, clearing thresholds up to 10 mm and gaps up to 35 mm.
- Omni-Sense Safety: Depth cameras and 3D LiDAR form a multi-layer safety system that detects people, equipment and obstacles, distinguishing static from moving objects.
- Distributed Fleet Orchestration: Each robot plans its own routes and communicates with the others, so the fleet keeps coordinating even offline. No central control system required.
- Dual-Mode Operation: Switches between autonomous and manual, with a touchscreen and joystick for operator intervention when a job needs it.
- IoT Integration: Tasks dispatch via PUDU Link, API, voice command or physical task buttons, with optional elevator and automatic door integration.
- 12 Hour Battery Life: 12 hours unloaded and 6 hours at maximum load, recharging in about 2 hours on 200-240V.
Outcomes
- Operational In About An Hour: No site renovation and no dedicated network build means deployment cost and disruption stay close to zero.
- Keep Your Existing Pallets: Compatibility with standard and non-standard carriers removes the pallet replacement programme that usually comes with automation.
- More Storage Without Building: 2 m aisle operation and 15 cm pallet spacing raise storage density inside the footprint you already have.
- Fewer Damaged Loads: Depth vision and 3D LiDAR cut the cargo damage that comes with manual handling in busy aisles.
- Run The Quiet Hours: Autonomous operation across a 12 hour battery moves material flow into shifts you would otherwise have to staff.
- Models: MPID01-M standard fork, MPID01-N narrow fork
- Fork Outer Width: 620 mm standard, 550 mm narrow
- Overall Dimensions (L x W x H): 1585 x 910 x 1870 mm
- Maximum Load: 2,000 kg
- Maximum Lift Height: 200 ±5 mm
- Lowered Fork Height: 80 ±5 mm
- Right-Angle Stacking Aisle Width: 2,000 mm or less with a 1200 x 1000 mm pallet, 1,960 mm or less with a 1200 x 800 mm pallet (1200 mm side along the forks in both cases)
- Navigation: 3D LiDAR-SLAM and VSLAM
- Maximum Speed: 1.6 m/s unloaded, 1.2 m/s loaded
- Pallet Pick Cycle: approx. 20 seconds
- Pallet Offset Tolerance: Up to 15 cm horizontal, up to 15° angular
- Maximum Surmountable Height / Gap: 10 mm / 35 mm
- Gradeability: 3° at full load, 8° unloaded
- Battery Life: 12 hours unloaded, 6 hours at maximum load
- Charging Time: approx. 2 hours at 200-240 Vac, approx. 3.2 hours at 100-120 Vac
- Safety Systems: Depth vision cameras, 3D LiDAR, static and dynamic object discrimination
- Fleet Control: Distributed, self-organising. No centralised control system required
- Task Dispatch: PUDU Link, API, voice command, task button
- Optional Integration: Elevator control, automatic doors, other IoT devices
